The Elf Goes Chic

Today I was going for a chic look, consisting of Veschi's new jumpsuit. I started this outfit with said jumpsuit's wide pants in wheat. It's a nice, neutral color and sets off the red top nicely. The red top is part of Veschi's new dress called Over the Top.

To make this outfit a bit more chic, I added a blazer from Wasted Youth. It includes a long-sleeved version, which I'm wearing, and a scrunched up-sleeved version. The shoulders add a little toughness, which I like in my outfits.

The hair I chose, well, you've seen before. My makeup adds some brightness and a higher sense of style to my look. The skin is a (vive9) freebie.

Haute Couture

Sometimes you just wanna dress up. And for those instances, House of Fox is the way to go. The whole collection is black, and that's just the way I like it.

I especially like this dress, called La Vie En Paris. It features a deep V neckline, and a huge skirt. It kind of looks like flower petals to me. There is also a collar piece that I am not wearing. It gives the dress an edge. Instead of the collar piece, I am wearing a necklace from Paper Couture. Like, really? I want in real life. Imagine how heavy that thing would be, though. It is so glamorous.

I chose the skin because it is an avant garde look, and picks up the sparkling white diamonds in the necklace.

One Outfit, Two Looks.

Newness from Prelude! One of the new releases is this beautiful dress and skirt combo, called Epine. This is the color Rouge.
Epine is a gown, with a full length skirt and a shorter, poofier skirt over it. The top has a sweetheart neckline. The pattern of the short skirt and top is a rich, French-inspired flowery print. It kind of reminds me of a fleur de lis. The cups of the top are wired; even so, they're barely holding me in! The skirt is a bit tight, so it's pulling across my legs.

After looking at the full outfit for a while, I decided a party look could be born. I just slipped off the longer skirt, and I was ready to party.

Without the long skirt, the short skirt looks extra poofy! I let my hair down; this look has a younger vibe to it than the full outfit does.

All prims are modifiable, for easy sizing.

For my more formal look, I used a (vive9) skin from the freebie giveaway. I would tell you to go get them, but they're not there anymore. I wanted a simple makeup for a dramatic dress.

This face should look familiar. She's from *CUPCAKES, and I love her. She definitely has a more intense look than the (vive9) girls. Not saying that's a bad thing.

Finally!

Remember that *COCO* skirt I couldn't find a top for? I found one! House of Fox, loving referred to as HOF, has a beautiful sheer top. It comes with the neck ruff, shown, cuffs, and shoulder ruffles, that are not shown.

This sheer is perfectly executed. The shadows are great, and I love the highlight on the tummy. The pin-tucks are an ingenious detail. It's tastefully done, I think. To tame it down a bit, I used a bra from Kenzie and Co., which is in a bag of freebies. I think it balances, yet adds to, the drama of the outfit.
One of my favorite skins is from the (vive9) freebie giveaway, which, sadly, is over. This is the GoldRush makeup. The face looks very soft, and I love the gold makeup. The lips are juciy, and the nose is perfect.

Spring Time Style

What a nice day it was today. The sun was out, no clouds were in the sky, and it didn't rain! This Zaara freebie is what I would wear. It's light, airy; perfect for a spring day!

The details are perfect, and I love the shadows on it. The filigree pattern is the best. I love it! Wanna touch it? I do.These antlers are giving me a headache!
I wanted to show this skin really well. It's a (vive9) freebie, and I love the rosy cheeks. It is from the Aerin line, in the [afro] tone, in the DayBreak makeup. It goes excellently with the spring vibe of the dress. The indent above the mouth is a bit intense, but I kind of like it.

I'm also wearing !lamb's Say in Kit Kat, and my trusty TESLA stilettoes in black.

A Casual Day

(vive9) is so good to us! As everyone knows, (vive9) closed down, but let us have freebies. Skins, eyes, and clothes were all included. One of my favorites is the Blowup Blazer in black. I love the balloon sleeves, and the length is just right. Close up, you can kind of see where the prim meets the clothing layer, but it's no problem if you just zoom out a bit. The leggings, which I'm wearing as pants, are also from the (vive9) giveaway. They are really nice quality, and don't deserve to be underneath something. They are nicely done, and don't have seams.

Here, I just wanted to get a closeup on the skin. It is also a (vive9) freebie, and is called Twiggy. I think she's so cute! The makeup is very casual, and is called Casting 1. It looks like she'd be really soft, don't you think?

Twiggy looks soft, bright, and the lips are delicious. I see no seams, and the bod is perfect.

Freebie Heaven!

There are so many hunts and specials going on right now, it can be kind of overwhelming. I checked out three of them: the (vive9) freebies, the Easter Cupcakes hunt, and the Easter Starlust hunt.

This skin is from the (vive9) giveaway, and is the deep brew tone in the Twiggy skin, in the Photoshoot 1 makeup.

I'm ready for my closeup!

I really love this skin for its soft features, and innocent look. The dress is a hunt gift from Cupcakes. There are eggs all over the Cupcakes sim, all with skins, clothing and eyes.

This outfit is made up of (vive9) Never Released Sailor Boatneck in red and the Never Released Legal Attention pants in navyblue. The details are really nice, and I really love the top.

Again, the skin is so soft.

This bra and panty set is from the (Elate!) egg that is in the Starlust Egg Hunt. The folder also includes a ladybug version and a dress. There are also a bunch of skins in the egg. The eggs are all different sizes and all different prices.

I love the lips on this one.

This dress is a Cupcakes hunt gift. When I put it on, I fell in love. The short little skirt goes great with the color, which is one of my favorites. And the flair on top is perfect.
