The start of this outfit was the hair: A place to call home in Chocolate Cake by Clawtooth by Clawtooth. It comes with a bird that stands on the edge of the nest. I am obviously not wearing them. Then I got dress from Parallel Love. It's a fun, cute, comfy dress that comes in a plethora of colors. Here's the Mustard color. I topped it off with an oldie: nikukyu fur vest from a past hunt.
At this point, I was feeling a bit bare. So I threw on my Aoharu ripped skinny jeans. I still didn't feel like this outfit was unique enough, so I put my new floral dress from Aoharu under my yellow dress. I love the cute floral print.
Glasses are a big part of Japanese SL style, so I jetted to DUBOO for some. I opted for Grandpa's Broken Glasses in brown. I love the name of them. Just to be ironic, I'm wearing the Bird Ring from Paper Couture. It's really cute, but I couldn't resist. The necklace, called Fishnet Wrapped Pearls in Cream, are also from Paper Couture.
The shoes are Maitreya's Allure tights. The tights color is a grey called Powder, and I changed the shoe color to Bordeaux.
The makeup is a yellow, to match the yellow dress. To add a little more color, I added the Orange lipstick.

The Bird Tale lashes from Glam Affair adds some drama to my beautiful face.

I just felt a need for a simple, but very chic look. Enjoy!

All of the poses I'm using are from Long Awkward Pose, and is part of the SL Daily Deals. Two packs for the price of one! The packs are Wonder Girls, which pays homage to some amazing women on the grid, and Bolly All the Time, a set inspired by Bollywood, India's own version of Hollywood.

To show you the necklace in all of its' glory, I had to put my hair up (!lamb. Unbirthday - Snickers), and take off my jacket. It is from Atelier AM, and comes in a longer version, too. It is very fashiony, but is also a piece that you can dress down easily.
The base of this outfit is pretty simple. The ever-chic pencil skirt starts off the outfit. I chose the black simplicity version from /artilleri/. On my top half, sits a Fri.Day freebie, the white cami. Both are well shaded; the folds near the stomach on the skirt is done to perfection.
This outfit called for a simple, yet sexy makeup. I just bought two fatpacks of *Cupcakes new Genius line, in the Cocoa tone. This makeup is light enough for spring, but isn't too inappropriate for work. It is called Paper.

Epine is a gown, with a full length skirt and a shorter, poofier skirt over it. The top has a sweetheart neckline. The pattern of the short skirt and top is a rich, French-inspired flowery print. It kind of reminds me of a fleur de lis. The cups of the top are wired; even so, they're barely holding me in! The skirt is a bit tight, so it's pulling across my legs.
Without the long skirt, the short skirt looks extra poofy! I let my hair down; this look has a younger vibe to it than the full outfit does.
This face should look familiar. She's from *CUPCAKES, and I love her. She definitely has a more intense look than the (vive9) girls. Not saying that's a bad thing.
(vive9) is so good to us! As everyone knows, (vive9) closed down, but let us have freebies. Skins, eyes, and clothes were all included. One of my favorites is the Blowup Blazer in black. I love the balloon sleeves, and the length is just right. Close up, you can kind of see where the prim meets the clothing layer, but it's no problem if you just zoom out a bit. The leggings, which I'm wearing as pants, are also from the (vive9) giveaway. They are really nice quality, and don't deserve to be underneath something. They are nicely done, and don't have seams.
Just waiting. I look very serene.
