It's my birthday!!!

And to celebrate, I got dressed up to go clubbing. But my day outfit is more of a sexy thing for VDay. The skin is a great buy; I got it for L$250 at Cupcakes. The skins are usually L$800 a pop, but one skin in each line was marked down. This one was, and, as you can see here, I bought it. The make up is cute, and I love the boobs! The cleavage on this skin is super sexy. To stick with the VDay theme, I put a Cupcakes bra on. This was from a hunt that the Cupcakes sim had a while back. Topping that off is a Pink Outfitters teal eyelet cardigan. I love it. It's sexy and fun. The skirt is a great find at /artilleri/. I love pencil skirts, and Simplicity makes me happy. I got the hair at Truth, when I was there for their retirement sale. I think this hair was either free or really really cheap. It's a cute little cut, which is pinned back.


After a day of pleasuring my man, I'm going out!

!WigWamBam was having a sale, and I grabbed this, loving it, but not knowing where or when I'd wear it. Their Sequin Minidress is fun, sparkley, and just right for a night out. The hair is !lamb, and so sweet. The shot I found while searching for beer. It was free.

Which is what I did. In real life, I love cardigans. They're great for layering, especially in winter, when you don't want to dress too bulky but still want to be warm. So I brought that love into Second Life. And I found some great cardis at /artilleri/. This Elspeth cardi in black with dots is great. Theres another cardi you get which is plain. So thats two cardigans for L$90! They come in all colors, and the fatpack is L$900. I wanted all of them! But, really, the cardigan is a great buy. It's cute, sexy, and fun all at the same time.



I also love hair. There are two types of hair I love: casual and fashiony and arty. !lamb quenches my arty-hair thirst really well. This style is called Say, and is in the Snickers tone. I love it! I want hair like this in real life! The style is great, and so much fun.

As for skins, I'm going to be exclusively *CUPCAKES Sambuca from now on. I only have two skins, but I'm working on the rest. I just love the look for this chocolatley tone.

I actually made a photo hall. I went to the Gnubie Store, bought some cheapie textures for the floor, and got some [LAP] poses. I love it. and excuse the quality of the following photo. It should be a little clearer.

Shake Your Money Maker!

There are many ways to make a L$ in Second Life. Real money is paid to stock up on L$, and can cost you big time in real life. Another way to make an Lbuck is to make stuff. Clothes, hair, skins, jewelry, cars, homes, furniture are only some of the wares you can build. You can also be a scripter. But all of these jobs require RL skills. Unskilled jobs are also a way to make money in Second Life. You can be an exotic dancer, a security guard, or a model. Yes, being a model in Second Life is an unskilled job. Moving on.

But everyone needs money. I mean, it's not like in RL where you have to buy food, pay the rent, pay the bills, and more. But it is good to have money.

Camping is a very slow way of getting money without doing anything. All you do is sit. And for an hour of sitting, you get not more than L$4. Wouldn't you rather be hanging out, shopping, exploring new worlds?

So, if you don't have any skills, don't want to be a stripper, and don't want to be sitting in one place for hours on end for the smallest amount of L$ ever, keep reading.

You can take surveys and get paid, in L$, for taking them. All you need is a computer, which I know you have, and a text enabled cell. You take the survey, and to complete it, you get a code on your cell, which you enter to get the money. The surveys are all different amounts. The payload depends on how big the survey is. So, if the survey is L$20, it's really simple. On the other hand, if the survey is L$120, the survey might take a while. The best part is that you can choose what surveys you want to take.

So if you love the Facebook surveys, don't have any skills, don't want to be a stripper, and don't want to spend your whole Second Life camping, go to Jack's Pot! (I'll have a landmark very, very soon!) You'll have fun, and you'll make some money.

A Small Hiatus

Hi, all! I am sorry that I haven't been posting alot; I am not allowed to have my computer. My mom also found out that I used her credit card for Lindens, so she told me to take her credit card off, but before I realized I could do that, I deleted my avatar LenaLove Avro. Dakota Francois, which is my apt, will become my main avatar. I will not be on SL(tm) as much, though. So the Hanukkah Hunt is off, but I will return as Dakota Francois.

By the way, it's really hard to type on an iPod touch.

I love this simple look. I put my ATOMIC kitty ears back on, just for fun. The hair I'm wearing is called Paris, and it's from the TRUTH $L25 retirement sale. I doubt it's on anymore, but I really love this hair and hat. The hat is color-change. The skin was from the *CUPCAKES hunt. It's called Raspberry, and it's in my favorite tone, Sambuca. I actually love raspberries, so I was so excited when I found this gift in the hunt. The tunic is from Pididdle, and it's $L50 from the discount floor. The shoes are the always fabulous TESLA.

Karida is Out!

Karida in the Dark tone is out.

I noticed that skins with facial moles are so pretty, so I ventured out to make my own. I was doing some research, and I found out that it is suggested that the placement of your facial moles reflects your personality. So I put some moles on skin, and went to my favorite site for names: BabyNames.com. Because one of the moles suggests loyality, I searched the meaning loyal on BabyNames.com. I came up with Karida.

This is the Swirl makeup in the Dark tone. It features a really cool swirly design coming from the eye and a red lip.

This is Stitched Together. The face and body are covered in stitches.

This is the Marie makeup in Purple. It's a purple color on the lid, with a gold color on top of that and under the eye. The lip is pink.

This is the Marie makeup in Pink. It's pink on the lid, with gold over that and under the eye. The lips are pink.

This is the Marie makeup in Mint. It is a light green color on the eyelids, and a goldish color ontop of the green and under the eye. The lips are pink.

This is the High Velocity makeup. It features some really cool eyelashes, and a pink lip.

This is the Classic makeup. It features a red lip, and an exagerated cat eye.

This is the Bling makeup. It features purple eyeshadow on both eyelids, and black jewels around the left eye. The lip is a great neutral.

Karida is supposed to be a little smoother than Rae, her predicesor. Karida has eight makeups, and a natural look.

PANDA!!!

Ahh! How cute is this? I got it at Pink Fuel when I was picking up the grey skin. This avatar is only 10 Lindens! This little one comes with a color-change bow.

My Name is Flower!

Happy Halloween!

This is my Halloween costume; I am a Crested Dwarf Iris, a type of flower. I used a mix of different things. The shirt is from the Fri.Day gift from the Sunny Sim hunt. I believe it's over, but it was a very cool twist on the ordinary hunt. You had to pick up a HUD that had a skeleton that you had to fill. Once a bone was filled, the name of the store would appear. Then, you had to ring a doorbell to get the gift! So, Fri.Day gave out these basic layering shirts, in all styles, but only in Halloween Purple. The hair from Tiny Bird was also a Sunny Sim hunt prize. The mask is texture-change, and comes in two colors: Licorice and Pumkin. The prize also includes a braided pigtails style with a Native American headress, in both colors.

The skirt is from [Royal Blue], and so are the tights. I love this !Ohmai shrug, which was featured a while ago and I just got around to featuring it. It's all gorgous!

As for the skin, I think I'm chocolate now! I love this CUPCAKES skin. Yummy!

A Halloween Look

A Pretty Skin, A Haunted House

I’m featuring two things: the Cupcakes Sambuca Ebony skin and the DarkDharma Haunted Manor.

First, the skin.
In my whole SL, I have never loved a dark skin as much as I love this one. I just love it; I can’t put my finger on why. Maybe it’s the tone. The tone is wonderful. Actually, I love chocolate peoples skin. I always have. It’s just so pretty. This makeup, Ebony, is available in all tones for $L100, for a limited time.

Now, the haunted house.
It is such a cool place!! One can have a séance. Ghosts pop up, as they are supposed to. There’s a giant floating, bloody eye. You can make a potion!! I did, and I made a goofy one. And you can learn to make ‘actual’ potions, like Skele-Grow from Harry Potter!! All the artwork in the house is death- related. Get in the Halloween spirit, and check out DarkDharma Haunted Manor.

Just a Rant

Hey all! Lena here. I lost my computer for 10 days, so I won't be able to go online. Now that I have a store, RLF, it sucks. But enough of my ranting. I'd like to talk about the recent death of Michael Jackson and the Second Life(TM) community.

When Michael Jackson died, everyone, no matter who they are, came together. That is community. And community is great. It is really shown during the Relay for Life phenomenom. Everyone comes together. It is amazing.

I really imagined that post being much longer.
